The National Capital Authority (NCA) is responsible for planning and caring for the national areas of Canberra, and for raising awareness of the national capital as a special and significant place. Get to know the stories behind Australia’s beautiful capital city on one of the NCA's free guided walking tours. Public guided walks are offered October to March during Daylight Savings or as part of special events such as the Canberra and District Heritage Festival. Large groups (over 15 persons) can book at anytime by email. Bookings are essential but free of charge.
