Emma Hack is an Adelaide-based artist working in the unique medium of bodypaint installation and photography, her work evokes a rich array of visual narrative and magical realism. Exhibiting extensively throughout Australia since 1999, Emma's artworks have captured the attention of collectors and art-lovers worldwide. Emma has held successful solo shows in NYC, London, Hong Kong, Perth and Taipei. She has also exhibited at various art fairs around the world - Singapore, Brussels, Aspen, Stockholm, The Hamptons, Hong Kong, Milan. Emma's collaboration with musician Gotye resulted in the award-winning music video for Somebody That I Used to Know, viewed by over 550 million people worldwide. This has raised her profile in the US, UK and Europe. Emma has since worked on a major artistic commission for the Motor Accident Commission, SA, where she built a sculpture of 17 bodies, painted as a crashed car, again drawing worldwide attention to her craft. Emma Hack Gallery is a beautiful gallery space, featuring themed exhibitions of Emma's iconic works.
