The Albury CBD Historic Building Walking Tour takes you back a hundred years or so into the region's social, political and economic past. Take a walk around the 19th and 20th century buildings on Dean Street between Kiewa and Olive Streets - the Post Office, Court House and Telegraph Office, the Colonial Mutual Life Building, the former Crown Lands Office, now Burrows House - and the old Farmers and Graziers Woolstore on Smollett Street. Download the free Albury CBD Historic Building Walking Tour app which gives you information on 21 landmarks along Smollett and Dean Streets. Silver bollards mark the tour stopping points and when you approach each site, you will be prompted to listen to audio and scroll through a selection of historic photographs. The full tour takes two hours, but you can stop off at any one of the great cafés in the area to refuel.
