The Fruiterers is a delightful 1870's shop which has been upgraded to make a cosy self contained bed and breakfast. Centrally located in the main street, of the historic town of Farrell Flat, it is just 15 minutes from Clare and Burra and 10 minutes from Mintaro. In the 1850's the town was a stopover for bullockies travelling on the Copper Ore Road, from Burra to Port Wakefield. In the 1870's the coming of the railway, meant the town became a grain depot and station on the Broken Hill Line. Wander around the town and discover some of the early heritage of the area. Tour the Clare wineries, historic Burra, Mintaro and Martindale Hall. Access the Heysen, Mawson and Riesling trails.
