55 Acres Retreat

Welcome to 55 Acres Retreat, offering unique accommodation in a beautiful location on the travel route to Cradle Mountain and with stunning views of Mt Roland. The accommodation is an appealing log chalet comprising of two bedrooms, large open dining/lounge/kitchen area and a single bathroom. Both bedrooms offer queen sized beds with the "Mountain Room" having fantastic views of Mt Roland while the "Forest Room" has views to the surrounding forest. Relaxing in the leather recliners you will be inspired by the views out of the large glass windows and doors, or sit outside on the spacious deck and take in the fresh air while you relax viewing the mountain or the manicured grounds including the property's private golf fairways or the native fauna. The Chalet accommodates four guests or just two but also offers a sofa bed to accommodate six guests in total. You can choose to cater for yourself or make a request for meals in advance with your host. 55 Acres Retreat is 12 km from Sheffield and only 48 km from Cradle and is an ideal base for half day or full day exploration of the beautiful North, Northwest and Central Tasmania.
