Stanton Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Stanton Bed and Breakfast is an historic farmhouse on 16 acres in the Derwent Valley. Choose from our three guest rooms all with queen beds and private bathrooms. You will be warmly welcomed. Find your spot on the veranda to enjoy the country setting overlooking paddocks, orchards and gardens. Take a walk and meet the pet sheep, noisy geese, feed the ducks and chooks, pick yourself some fruit in season or some vegies for your dinner. As the day draws to a close you can cosy up in the Drawing Room in front of the open fire. We know you want to experience the real taste and feel of Tasmania so we provide our guests with the best of Tasmanian produce, all fresh, local and seasonal. Stanton is in the middle of the Derwent Valley, three minutes to the glorious Derwent River and the Antique Town of New Norfolk, 35 minutes to Mt Field National Park, 20 minutes to MONA and another 15 minutes to Hobart. Take a kayak tour of the river or nearby lakes and be picked up from our front stairs for a day of adventure.
