Forestvale Design Centre - Gallery and Cafe

Forestvale Design Centre Bruny Island is situated on 100 acres of beautiful covenanted forest and grazing land. Our property has an abundance of wildlife and is a bird watchers paradise. Enjoy our walking trails and the spectacular lookout with views over the d’entrecasteaux Channel to the Hartz Mountains and the mouth of the Huon River. The 220m2 Gallery features an eclectic range of Tasmanian paintings, prints, fine woodworking, sculpture, furniture and photography. We ship worldwide. The Bumper Bar Cafe serves fresh delicious light lunches from local produce, our vegetable garden and blueberries and fruit from our orchard. Our large muffins are seriously delicious. We also serve hot melt sandwiches, soups, Blueberry desserts and fresh ground plunger coffee. There is a large outdoor deck for fine weather and a cozy wood fire in the cafe. We are a working Centre and offer a number of wood working, kayak and Canadian style timber and canvas canoe courses that may just present the hands on challenge and interest that you have been looking for. The courses suit all levels of experience with small class sizes offering personalized attention.
