Melbourne Crime Tours circa 1890 to 1920's. Take a trip back to the time when Fitzroy was a red light district and viewed by the police as the home of Melbourne criminals with Melbourne. The walking tours are the creation of and are hosted by true crime writer and historian Michael Shelford. Learn about Melbourne's most notorious law breakers from 100 years ago. The two hour walking tours take place every Thursday and Friday at 2:00pm and Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm from the Workers Club Hotel in Melbourne's inner suburb of Fitzroy. Included as part of the tour is your own copy of the official tour booklet, which contains photos of the criminals discussed and other interesting information. Tour numbers are limited so please book online in advance at the website or on Facebook.
