The Cunderdin Municipal Museum contains an interesting collection of antiques, relics and vintage machinery gathered from the surrounding area. Housed in the original pump station, the building is a magnificent sight with its tall chimney visible for miles. Enter the interactive Earthquake House, which is a recent addition to the museum, to gain an appreciation for the huge earthquake that hit Meckering in 1968. Stroll through the indoor display, which includes a magnificent Tiger Moth aeroplane suspended from the ceiling. Learn how the early settlers of the agricultural town lived and see the influence the gold rush had on Cunderdin. Take a walk outside to see an extensive collection of vintage tractors and farm machinery. Cunderdin is just two hours south east of Perth.
