“Part of the Tombstone Territorial Park”
This beautiful mountain range in Yukon Territory is part of the Tombstone Territorial Park. Its most famous mountains include the Tombstone Mountain and Mount Monolith. The highest mountain within the range is Mount Frank Rae at 2,362 m. The range is crossed by the Dempster Highway and span from the Alaska border to the Taiga ranges, and are home to the Porcupine caribou in the wintertime. The area is known for hiking, camping and rock climbing. Many visit the Mount Monolith via the Grizzly Creek Trail, though it can be very dangerous to reach via the highway during the wintertime and has seen some of the coldest temperatures in Canada.
