Rata Lodge is 15km west of Arthurs Pass village, nestled in bush at the foot of Mount Barron, Otira, in the heart of the Southern Alps. We have magnificent mountain views and great walking with river access. An excellent base for tramping and hunting. Short walk to glow worms. Spacious and comfortable. Some food available to purchase. 500m to local hotel, store and post office. Daily bus and train.
