This historic 1906 character villa has been lovingly restored to a beautiful, spacious lodge. In winter, cosy up by the fireplace or make the most of our hot tub. Summer sees our guests enjoying our ample lawn space, native gardens and woodfire pizza oven, whilst taking in view of mighty Mt Ruapehu. All year round you'll enjoy our full kitchen facilities, cosy lounges, and free WiFi.

Our awesome location means you can take in views of Mt Ruapehu while relaxing on the veranda, or get out amongst Tongariro National Park with daily shuttles departing from the hostel. Experience the North Island's only ski fields, the beautiful alpine town of Ohakune including restaurants and shops, or the Whanganui River.

We're on the doorstep of the ‘Mountains to Sea’ Cycleway and the Ohakune ‘Old Coach Road’. We can arrange mountain bike rental and shuttles, have secure bike storage, washing facilities, and trail maps, making it doubly convenient to explore the local trails.
