Great place to stop along the way! Playground on the other side of bridge with restrooms!!
A stunning tribute to a brilliant musician. You drive up and see a majestic backdrop and a statue of Ray at his piano atop a fountain of sorts. Those who come out of their car to explore are rewarded with Ray’s music being piped in around the statue and you slowly notice that the path around you is fashioned into piano keys and the benches are musical notes. This is incredibly well done. You stop at 10 roadside attractions and some are bound to disappoint. This makes up for all of those. It was a quick photo op that turned into a 30 min stroll. Well worth the stop for anyone in the area
A great monument to Ray Charles. Well made references to the piano and music. Well maintained. Nice view over the river.
