SK Tours of Maine, LLC is the only tour company that offers private narrated tours of the Stephen King sites in and around the Bangor, Maine area seven days a week year round. Each tour is approximately 3 hours long and highlights about 30 spots that pertain to Stephen King. You will see places he has lived and worked, places that have inspired his stories, and actual film locations from his movies. Each tour is hosted by Stuart Tinker who has been featured on A&E Biography, City Confidential, People Magazine and many other national media outlets. With 20 years experience selling Stephen King books and memorabilia as the owner of the original Betts Bookstore, Stu is recognized as one of the leading experts on King Lore and legend, and he has lived all his life in Bangor, or as it is known in the Stephen King world, Derry, Maine. Stu started doing Stephen King Tours for King fans and researchers over 18 years ago, and has enjoyed introducing many new readers to the area that has inspired so many great books and movies.

Great tour for King fans. Had a good time.
This tour was the highlight of our time in Bangor! We got to see so many cool parts of town and learn so much about Stephen King. Our tour guide, Jamie, was so nice and knowledgeable. He had great stories, including many personal ones. If you're an avid Stephen King fan or have only seen a movie here and there, this tour is a must on your trip to Bangor!

This tour is a MUST DO if your in Bangor! The guides are both entertaining and engaging! It was a wonderful tour and recommend it for all age groups!
