“Kampgrounds of America”
We are located at I-90 exit 377, on the south side frontage road (same side as the Prairie Dog Town State Park). Filled with beautiful trees and bordered by a lazy Montana creek, the Big Timber KOA is a wonderful spot to come relax and spend time with friends and family. On-site, enjoy our heated pool and jumping pillow, or we have a game room with air hockey and a pool table for evening fun. Our friendly staff is happy to make suggestions if you're interested in a few hours or a day trip to enjoy the beautiful Montana outdoors. We offer free WiFi. We can accommodate rigs up to 110 feet! Our pull-through sites sell out fast, so please call for availability. No RV? Stay in a comfortable cabin or bring your tent for an old-fashioned camping experience. Many local attractions, including Natural Bridge Falls, the Crazy Mountain Museum, and quaint dining and shopping in Big Timber. Your park host: Jake Klingensmith

Staff was so friendly! Restrooms with showers super clean- cute camp/general store, laundry room clean and several washer/dryers (no coin change machine tho so bring plenty quarters). Only crashed for a quick night but enjoyed
We stopped for the night in July 2021 during a heat wave. We had a pull through in the back with huge trees that gave us much needed shade. We were able to check in around 12:30pm. Did not use the facilities but it all looked fine. The dumpster is not really convenient, and we had just ok AT&T. Overall a fine stay.

This campground is on the smaller side but has very long sites. There is plenty of space to park even the biggest rigs. We stayed here in a 42 foot 5th wheel and had a ton of space for our truck in front and behind the RV. They have cool things for families with kids, A jumping pillow, playground, game room, pool, and a kids cabin. Great place if you don't have kids as well. This place was quiet except for the trains that are coming through all day and night. We stayed for 14 nights and never got used to the train noise. It's not the campground's fault so I gave them a high score due to the great service and clean bathrooms and showers.

We came in late and left early, electric only in mid October. Otherwise, quiet except for the occasional train.

• Nice long site, easily accommodates larger rigs.
• Staff are excellent.
• WIFI is horrible, but my Roger Hot spot worked great.
• I 90 is close, but you can’t really hear it because of the trains. They do offer free ear plugs.
• If it was not for the trains, this would be an amazing campground.

Older KOA with lots of mature trees. Got keycards for bathrooms and showers at check in. Great pull thru site for big rigs. Quiet except for the occasional train that blows its horn as it goes by. They have ear plugs if you need them. WiFi was a bit slow. Would stay at again.

We stayed for one night in the back. It was shaded and quiet. There’s a creek, mature trees, a nicely stocked store, and the owners made great customer service a top priority. The jumping pillow for the kids looked like a blast and the cabins were cute. All the amenities you could ask for.

Nicely maintained KOA under new ownership. Mature trees with newly renovated office, store, and clubhouse. Friendly staff. Lots of nice pull through spots. Staying in electric and water pull-through to save some money. It is grassy, however full hookups are gravel. All seem to be fairly level. Fenced in dog park and they have some activities for kids but the waterpark is closed.
I get good internet access through cell service. Using AT&T data only card with cell booster, I get 25mbps download so no problems working or streaming. Verizon on my cell phone is 2 bars without booster, 72mbps download. Wifi isn't working well right now but let staff know and hopefully will be fixed soon.
KOA is right off I-90 so it accessible but of course you hear traffic noise. Close to the town of Big Timber and other activities.
Recommend for an RV camping experience.

We had a great time at Big Timber KOA. Our campsite was in the back by the creek. Lots of mature trees to stay shaded and cool. There was a picnic table, grill and a fire pit provided. I thought the sites were spacious. You could hear the interstate and trains very well, but it didn't bother us. It was loud for our friends who tent camped.
We traveled with our 4 kids (ages 3-12) and our friends kids and they had a blast! They liked jumping on the big inflatable pillow. They also had a basketball hoop, swings, slide and teeter totter type thing. They were just filling the pool when we arrived. It was the coldest water I've ever felt, even with their heaters going. I believe they were in the process of fixing all of it though!! We met the owner by the pool, she was a very nice lady.
The wifi wasn't very good, but I had plenty of service to use my data. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The general store had many things if you forgot anything. Plus FREE popcorn!!! I noticed many people came for just the night and were out early the next morning.
All in all, we had a blast. There are some things that could be improved, but I think they are working through them! I would recommend!!

Staff was extremely helpful and caring. Went out of their way to fit us in last minute. They have great amenities for kids. They have water/sewer hookups and wifi. Verizon got 3 bars here and we could work off of our hotspot. Pull through and back ends. Right off the freeway. Be sure to take the exit that says grey cliff koa exit now otherwise it will take you 9 miles further on gps.
