Founded in 1859, Mount Pleasant's original winery is located in the Augusta Appellation, the first government-appointed wine-growing district in the United States. The winery in Augusta grows 12 grape varieties on 78 acres. Over the past two decades, Mount Pleasant has won numerous prestigious awards and achieved high point-ratings for its wine. Explore this world of winemaking first-hand at our beautiful Mount Pleasant Winery location in Branson, Missouri. Our Branson location opened in April 2008, a 9,200-square-foot tasting and bottling experience. The beautiful ledgestone building offers patrons the chance to shop, sample Mount Pleasant's numerous award-winning wines and even bottle their own wine from a specially designed 600-gallon French oak barrel. The winery, located at the intersection of Gretna Road and Green Mountain Drive welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
