“Geology, Wildflowers and Night Skies at 10,000 Feet”
Discover one of America's most special parks! Crowning the grand staircase, Cedar Breaks sits at over 10,000 feet and looks down into a half-mile deep geologic amphitheater. Come wander among timeless bristlecone pines, stand in lush meadows of wildflower, ponder crystal-clear night skies and experience the richness of our subalpine forest. A smaller version of Bryce Canyon, this 2,500-foot deep basin filled with strange limestone formations in a vivid array of colors and hues offers breathtaking views on a five-mile drive along the rim. This naturally formed amphitheater has guided walks in the summer and a few designated hiking trails.

We gad no idea this existed; it was beautiful, uncrowded, and close to Cedar City.
a beautiful, windy, unique place to see! your national park pass will work here. this is an easy park to see most of it with little hiking. I did do a couple of trails and they were nit too tough. I lucked out & saw snow in July on the upper loop ofnthe alpine pond trail. never thought I'd make a snowball in July but I did! this park is a very similar landscape to Bryce Canyon, but a smaller scale & much less crowded!
If your going through here it is deff a must see, but don't go out of your way to see it! It's got the same view as Bryson canyon
