DO NOT STAY HERE! We are full time RVers (of 4 years) and have stayed all over the country. Stayed here April 2023 and this is one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had and the only time we’ve left a campground and double paid at a different location. If you like staying in an RV storage lot where you can high five your neighbors, this place is for you. Reasons to avoid:
* You are paying $50 a night for a grass parking spot. No amenities at all - no showers, no laundry facilities.
* There is no picnic table/fire ring, or even space to put out a chair. There isn’t space for an outdoor rug, but even if there was, it is not allowed. The rules contract that you read through and sign is pages long.
* We both work remotely and were interrupted during our meetings twice! Once because they said our hose had a leak and they wanted to let us know they had unhooked it and once because they were mowing the grass and needed us to move our Jeep from in front of our RV (our designated spot)… this has never happened at any other campground.
* Then, without our permission, the maintenance man picked up our hose and THREW IT AWAY.
* We told them we were going to be out of town on the next mowing day but that we were leaving our Jeep with the RV. They said we’d need to leave the keys with them so they could move it to mow while we were gone. WHAT?!
* It’s cash only and no refunds so that when, like us, you realize you made a mistake and should’ve stayed elsewhere - no getting your money back.
We moved across the street to the Camping World Racing Resort. It’s cheaper, is a real campground with all the amenities, and had an awesome experience for our last week in Charlotte. So, learn from our mistake and book their first.

First off, I want to say that Mantra and her husband - the two that I thought owned this park - were great. Mantra is especially sweet and her husband was nice enough to help me back into my first ever spot with my first ever rig. He even stayed to help me do all my hook ups since, again, it was my first time. The place is nice even if it doesn’t have any amenities. If you have pets, there’s a fenced-in road behind the rigs where I walked my dogs multiple times a day.
Everything was going fine until I got home from a hike and all the regular parking spaces were coned off. I couldn’t get a hold of the owners so I asked a couple random folks who helped me find a spot to park. It was then that I found out there was to be a concert every weekend for the next month and I was going to have to deal with parking away from my rig on those weekends.
There’s a possibility that there were dates in my welcome packet that I forgot about, but there was never any follow up reminder or anything to let me know where or how to park.
I had a guest coming so I asked the security for the concert (who were standing everywhere) if my guest would be able to get in and they nicely told me where my guest could park. Two people answered this question for me and when my guest arrived, we parked where they instructed me to.
Then, a man tapped on my guest’s car window and began berating us for parking where he had just sodded and basically called me a liar when I told him I was told to park there. I told him I couldn’t get a hold of Mantra and his words were, “I own this place and you didn’t ask me. You deal through my sister, but I own this place.”
I was humiliated in front of my guest because of their lack of communication. For those last few weekends, I just stayed somewhere else simply to avoid the loud music, crowds, and especially Mantra’s brother.
If you do stay here, you’ll likely enjoy it if there aren’t any events for that weekend and if you don’t have to deal with the incredibly rude and difficult supposed owner.
Mantra, I hope you read this so you’ll at least know how great you and your husband were for this first-time RVer.
