“hassle free camping”
Setting up camp at the Corbin/Laurel Lake KOA is hassle-free, thanks to big-rig friendly Pull-Thru RV Sites. This is the KOA closest to pristine Laurel Lake and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park (known as the Niagara of the South), where you can view the famous "Moonbow." Visit the newly renovated Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum, Big South Fork Scenic Railway in Sterns and Daniel Boone Country and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, where Daniel Boone cut his way west in 1769. Enjoy nearby water rafting, horseback riding, hiking and canoeing. At camp, enjoy the shade trees, swim in the pool, take a half-mile hike to Laurel Lake or a 2-mile drive to a public access boat ramp. Free high speed WiFi. For after-hours registration, use KOA's outdoor booth Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend (may open sooner or close later weather permitting). Max pull thru: 80 feet. When we stopped the night before the guest services employees were both very helpful and nice! However, the morning shop opening employee was the rudest person we have ever encountered! First he unlocked the shop door and slammed the door behind himself (right in our faces). We asked him if they sold coffee. He said he hadn't made any yet. We told him we would come back later then to which he replied "That's assuming I'm going to make some." What a jerk!
Don’t stay here you will be disappointed!

If you like paying extra for small site, cigarette buds and trash... then this is your place. I would say this is great for an overnight stay along I-75, but thats about all. Typical small KOA sites and the trash! Yuck! cigarettes and trash all over the campground. Next to impossible to keep it out of our dogs mouth. On the plus side, the people were friendly and the sites were level.

This KOA was rather typical of many. Sites are close together, but easy access. Staff was friendly, but unfortunately no one was wearing a mask.

Site 92 is very sloped. Maybe if I pulled the trailer all the way forward and put the truck behind the trailer I might have been able to use the sewer connection
Sewer was up hill by easily a foot or more beyond what my sewer stands could do. I had the tongue of the trailer as low as it would go and the bumper was probably four feet in the air
Many other sites were much better for slope but already taken
Even steps were past maximum

The narrow green space between our rig and the one next door was just wide enough to accommodate our hookups and the neighbors slide - which I almost looked myself on. Fine for overnight but too tight for extended stays.

This was our first KOA to stay at and was thoroughly happy. We usually boondock or stay at state campgrounds so we weren’t expecting anything fancy.
The 30amp water/electric only sites have great WiFi and easy to get in and out of with our fifth wheel.
There is a pool, showers, laundry room, and dump station. Very friendly couple running the place too.
I would definitely stay here again.

We made this reservation last-minute, as our direction of travel changed a bit. The pull through sites were long, but so close together that our picnic table was literally right next to our neighbors sewer...not ideal. It was Halloween season, so there was a haunted forest on the weekends, which I must say was quite scary! Trick or treating and decorated campsites for the kids as well. There were some really nice hiking trails, but we got lost on one of them and had to turn around. There was a huge inflatable waterpark that looks like it will be fun when it's open. They were also adding another playground and some other buildings, but someof the other playgrounds/bouncy houses looked old and dirty. One basketball hoop was missing. The laundry facility could also use an update and/or a deep clean. Not a bad park, but almost seemed too big to handle and maintain. Also, you're quite a bit out of the way from any town. It was 25-30 minutes just to get groceries. If we ever com back to KY we'll probably check out somewhere else.

We loved the location of the Koa in relation to Cumberland Falls and National park but they are not very big rig friendly. Our 5th wheel is over 40 ft and we were given a buddy site that was listed as pull thru and was very awkward. Would not stay here again for this reason.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s still highway noise although it’s not right next to it. Nice campground to walk and has a couple of nice trails. The pool looked nice but it was cool out and stopping for a quick overnight so didn’t use. Even with sites a little close together it was quiet and sites nice. Will definitely stop again on our travels through Kentucky on I-75.
