“lovingly restored historic gem”
The historic bed & breakfast in the heart of the Oaklawn neighborhood, Dallas, Texas. The Daisy Polk Inn & Dickason Cottage are lovingly restored historic gems in the Oaklawn/Turtle Creek area of Dallas. The Inn was constructed from 1909-1910, in the Arts & Crafts style, and is beautifully furnished with a wonderful and eclectic mix of period appropriate antiques from all around New England and Europe that date from the mid 19th to the early 20th century, this B&B is truly one of a kind in the North Texas region. The Dickason Cottage, adjacent to the Inn, was constructed in late 1904 and stands as an updated cousin to Miss Daisy's genteel turn of the century charm. Each morning delicious breakfasts, with a Southern twist, both continental and full, are served in the original main dining room by our classically trained chef and our guests are invited to choose freely from an extensive menu with almost 30 options. The Daisy is located one block off of Cedar Springs Road about 10 minutes from Love Field and about 30 minutes from DFW International Airport. We offer convenient walking access to many local restaurants, clubs and bars and in addition to quick cab service we are 1 block from key public transportation routes with nearby links to DART metropolitan light rail service.
