“Arab American History and culture”
The Arab American National Museum (AANM) is the only museum in the United States that is dedicated to documenting, preserving, and presenting Arab American History and culture. The Museum, a 38,500 sq.ft. facility, which opened to the public on May 5, 2005, is located in the heart of Michigan’s Arab American community, across the street from Dearborn’s City Hall. It functions as an educational and cultural institution, and houses permanent historical exhibits, temporary exhibits, community courtyard, classrooms, a library & resource center, a museum store, and an auditorium. Our educational and cultural activities address the public needs for accurate information about Arab Americans and their presence in this country. Our arts programming invites artists and scholars of the highest caliber, both Arab and non-Arab, to exhibit their work, perform in our auditorium, and participate in our cultural activities.
