Salisbury House was built as a private family manor between 1923-28 by Carl and Edith Weeks; enabled by their financial success in the cosmetics industry and fueled by their passion for the fine arts. Salisbury House is a museum; cultural and educational resource; and center for social events. Special events include Shakespeare on the Lawn; Salisbury Auto Classic; and Holly & Ivy Tour.
