Visit the Museum of North Idaho to discover the fascinating history of the Coeur d'Alene Region. Exhibits explore steamboats, railroads, communities, recreation, Forest Service, Farragut Naval Training Station, the Ice Age Flood and Coeur d'Alene Indians. In the theatre room watch a 20-minute presentation. Discover the people and history that make our area what it is today. Museum Store featuring local history books and gifts. Historic walking tours of Fort Sherman at 11 am and downtown Coeur d'Alene at 1:30. Tours depart from the Museum. A free parking voucher is available at the front desk.
