“let Elvis rock you to sleep”
For true fans of Elvis Presley, Heartbreak Hotel rooms are a dream come true. The fashionable boutique hotel takes its cues from the legendary hospitality and personal style associated with Elvis Presley. Heartbreak Hotel is one of the most popular Memphis, TN hotels, so availability can be limited. Book ahead of time and get the full Elvis experience!
Heartbreak Hotel features 128 rooms and is located conveniently across the street from Elvis Presley's Graceland (one of the best celebrity home tours east of the Mississippi). The hotel offers numerous free amenities (including WiFi, seasonal swimming pool, airport shuttle service) to make sure your stay is memorable and is located only about 3 miles from the Memphis International Airport, making it one of the best Memphis, TN hotels for a visit to Graceland.
Just around the corner from Graceland (the hotel is literally steps away), the Heartbreak Hotel is a fun 1950's inspired hotel that Elvis fans (and just visitors to Memphis) will thoroughly enjoy. Rooms are actually contemporary and modern, with fun photos of Elvis hanging on the walls. Wifi is free and there are channels on the TV that show only Elvis movies. TIP: Ask to upgrade to one of their suites to really experience what it was like to be the King of Rock and Roll. Plan to spend time in the heart-shaped pool, and the jungle-themed lounge. The hotel also offers rides to Beale Street at night, for a modest fee.
Stayed here 2 nights and did the Graceland package. The hotel was extremely disappointing. I have stayed in better hotels that are $50 a night. This place is $115 plus a night and definitely not worth it. There is a Days Inn about a block away which is about half the price and Elvis themed, wish we had stayed there. The breakfast is terrible it is basically nothing but stale breads so make sure you plan to bring your own breakfast or to get something. The bananas were overripe and ready for banana bread. The hotel lobby was decorated really cool but after that they just lost the theme basically they just threw a random picture of Elvis on the wall here or there. Apparently they have themed suites you can stay in so maybe those are better. Room was adequate but needs updating and also some deep cleaning. Bottom line there is nothing special about this hotel and not worth paying the extra money to stay here.
