The North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame is the Official Visitor Center for (Exit 36, I-77) Mooresville, providing race fans with a free race shop guide and map. Spend a day in Lakeside Park visiting the Hall of Fame, race shops and race themed restaurants. The Museum features over 40 race cars dedicated to all types of auto racing. Re-live racing’s greatest moments in the Goodyear Mini-Theater or simply stroll by the many showcases and displays. The Art Gallery features many of motorsports’ top artists including Garry Hill, Sam Bass, Jeanne Barnes, and Dan McCrary as well as many other local talents. Rare artists’ prints are available for purchase at the gift shop. The Gift Shop carries a wide selection of racing memorabilia and is also the Official “RACE CITY, USA” merchandise headquarters. We carry race used authentic tires, rims, sheetmetal, and crew shirts from various drivers and teams. All tires come with a certificate of authenticity from the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame. The North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame is dedicated to all types of racing – from drag racing to stock cars. The museum houses more than 40 cars that represent and help re-live some of racing’s greatest moments. Numerous racing displays and showcases are continually rotated in an effort to promote North Carolina’s motorsports heritage
