“An Oasis of Cool Woods”
Fillmore Glen State Park is an oasis of cool, dense woods crowding into a long, narrow gorge. Its hiking trails offer spectacular views, unique geological formations, including five waterfalls, and a botanically rich glen. The park has 60 campsites, a stream-fed swimming pool and fishing in the Owasco Lake inlet. In the winter, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are permitted on unplowed roads. For those who prefer the luxuries of home, the park offers a full service cottage located on the shore of Cayuga Lake at Long Point. Cottage amenities include a kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, sink, full bath, hot water; electricity, bedroom with double bed and dressers, main room with a sleeper sofa, furniture, dining table with chairs, a wood stove, boat dock, picnic table, fire ring and grill and a small lawn area.

Really nice state park, has great hiking trails and waterfalls and also a nice stone pool in the waterfall stream bed with lifeguards!
The park is very clean and great for camping. If your dream is to camp within natural wooden scenes, then this is your spot. The camping space is private enough if it is not overcrowded.
The toilets are clean so don't be afraid for your child's hygiene, or yours. Just come prepared with food and drinks because there isn't a shop on site.
Great place to hike and cycle! We certainly all enjoyed it.
Incredible hiking spot perfect to challenge your muscles on the up hill incline. Perfect for a family day!
Wow wow WOW. There are a few waterfalls here and they're all gorgeous. I went late in the evening close to sunset and there couldn't have been a more perfect time. It was almost completely empty save for the awesome local father and son who noticed I was a tourist and kind of added me to their hike and told me about the area and what to do next, and we had such a wholesome talk about life, too. I'm sure this place is full of magic.
Great place for a hike with the kids.
