Unlike most KOA's this one is NOT located right next to a freeway but is in a quiet, wooded area about 10 minutes east of Lincoln City. We were in the area for the Sept Lincoln City Kite Flying Festival which we really enjoyed. The sites are gravel and most seem to be fairly level, however the campground does slope down a hill. The camp sites are close together and for that reason we gave this a 3 star rating. But the back-in sites have some "vegetation" (bushes or trees) between sites. Wifi worked well. Bathrooms were reasonably clean but they do get a lot of use. There are a lot of camping cabins here and many are full of families with kids. Some reviewers commented that it was noisy from all the kids but we did not find that to be the case. We are grandparents but we enjoy watching the kids and families having fun at the basketball court or on the climbing equipment. This KOA does serve breakfast in their little restaurant and they have an ice cream social at night. It's important to note that the staff is VERY friendly and helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

Sites are terraced down hill. Very friendly, cable TV, attractive campground with plenty of green space which attracts herds of elk. Very quiet.

My experience here was great! Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. I even got help backing my trailer into my spot. The campground is also very close to the ocean!

We stayed here after reading the reviews. I agree that the hosts were nice…but other than that, I can’t believe it’s the same place! I have to wonder if the reviews were planted as there is no resemblance what-so-ever to what we experienced. The sites are stacked on top of each other, with some trees around the perimeter, not between the sites. I counted over 50 screaming children, many running right through people’s sites with NO parental supervision. People were playing music at top volume. Barking dogs late into the night. The bathrooms were not well maintained-they were heavily used and needed to be cleaned…not what we expected for a KOA. Given the money they are taking in every night (do the math!), they can afford to have them cleaned every hour. The power from our pole wasn’t clean, so we had to unplug.
If you want even the remote possibility of a restful and clean stay, run away!!! If you love noise, utter chaos, and a party/fraternity atmosphere, this is the right place for you!

Very nice KOA! The people there were all super nice and a real pleasure to talk with. Our site was clean, level, and everything worked. Had a cement slab with chairs and a fire pit. WiFi was excellent. We used their laundry and it was clean and the cost was reasonable. It wasn’t open 24 hours though…closed sometime between 9 and 10 pm. We really enjoyed breakfast cooked at their camp kitchen. I really wished we’d stayed more than one night!

The Lincoln City KOA was one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. All the amenities you expect, including great wifi. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well-kept grounds. It's a little off US101 but that works with the quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended.

As the other reviews said the campground, staff, and amenities are all pleasant. The first RV park we've been to that has realworking wifi!
Hovever if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. Aside from the screaming dog next to us, there are gas powered gators, all with sqealing brakes, blowers, mowers, chain saws, and weed whackers in use daily.

The campground is on the opposite side of a lake from Lincoln City and about a mile away from US 101, so it’s quiet and secluded. The entrance to the campground isn’t the best: it’s a paved sloped narrow road for about 100 feet before widening enough for two-way traffic. You continue down the hill and then make a left and then a right to pull up next to the office to check in. We were asked for the license plate of our tow vehicle, so have that handy.
We stayed in site 13, a pull-through site, which meant we were on the hillside along the entrance road. The hillside sites are terraced, with gravel pads, a small grass yard, a picnic table and fire pit with legs, and hedges between each site. Our fifth wheel’s leveling system had to do some work to get us level front-to-back and side-to-side, even after we put a board under one set of tires. We probably had enough room to park our 21-foot truck in front of our 37-foot RV after unhooking if we had parked at an angle, but we just ended up parking in one of the spots across the entrance road from our site. There is a row of back-in sites behind the pull-throughs; most of the rest of the sites (smaller back-in sites, tent sites, and cabins) are in the flat area at the base of the hill (all of the full hookup sites are on the hill).
Most of the amenities are clustered near the office building, which sells the mix of convenience store items and souvenirs typical of a KOA store, and contains bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities. There are horseshoe pits and a children’s playground located behind the office, and a set of dumpsters next to the building. Across the street from the office is the propane refill station, cans for recycling aluminum and plastic, a small rec room, and a cafe that serves hot breakfast (pancake, waffle, egg, and sausage dishes) from 7am to 11am. There is also a small open field across from the office for casual play that has two disc golf baskets.
The enclosed dog park located across the entrance road from the pull-through sites is fairly large but irregularly shaped: the back right “corner” slopes down and out-of-site from the entrance. Not really a problem, just something to be aware of if you like to keep an eye on your dogs at all times. There is also a short and steep wooded trail on the east side of the campground were you can also walk your dog if they get bored of the dog park.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 14Mbps down and 23 up, and we could stream video with very little pixelation or buffering. The best speed I got on my AT&T smartphone was 57Mbps down and 3 up.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.
