“We're just a stone's throw from many famous attractions!”
Happy Campers, we are grateful to live and work in such a beautiful area. We are excited about seeing you at the weekend activities. They run from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Remember, a fire ban will be coming sooner rather than later this summer. Be prepared! Travel with your propane fire pit. See you later! Lana and Marty.

We chose this park because we couldn't get a month in our previous park. The KOA has recently renovated the back section of pull through sites to add 50 amp electric. This section is also the only part of the park with sewer. Since the renovations were just completed a month ago, this area is all dirt with gravel roads and sites. Sitting areas are very large with huge concrete tables and fire pits, but the whole area is just dirt. We didn't have any rain or it might have been a mess. Not sure what they plan to do with the sitting areas but you do get spectacular views of all the mountains. There is no shade in this section, but the rest of the park is shaded with tenting sites mixed with pull through and back in RV sites with 30 amp E/W. There are many cabins of various sizes, as well. The registration area around the office is tight and confusing. The park office has a well stocked store and personal are very friendly. The park offers a pool and adult only hot tub, as well as other planned KOA activities. The WiFi is very good and Verizon service is great since there is a tower right near by. Since the park is on the east side of Port Angeles, it is closer to Sequim and further from the main sections of Olympic NP. The big ding to this park is the highway noise. The back section with FHU's is right on Hwy 101. The trucks occasionally use their exhaust brakes. It is quieter in the night but starts up around 5:00 AM. So between the dirt and noise we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This KOA has a decent location for visiting Olympic NP via Hurricane Ridge and the northern park. The pricing was high for a W/E site, but not too far out of whack with the area, which has a shorter peak season. Sites were decent on space, and the location was quiet, though right off 101. The bathrooms were pretty clean, but the showers were rather small. Wifi was surprisingly functional.

We are not usually fans of KOA, however we are in strange Covid times and every place is pretty booked solid. We needed something with two spots available. We are glad we gave it a try. The grounds were clean, check-in was easy and the location was great. Its located in between Port Angeles and Sequim, with easy access to 101. Although you can hear the freeway it's not overly loud. There are a variety of sites available to choose from when you reserve, depending on your preferences. We chose a partial site in the trees and grass. There are evem some sites that back up to a field with views of the Olympics. My only complaint is our site listing said grass site but it had gravel, but that is likely because it was on the end and looked like they may have had to level it. Lastly, the also had a mobile tank pump. For us this was a huge convenience and well worth it!

Great views. The pool was closed when we were there (Covid). Activity areas were tired and unkempt but the camp sites were nice!

I stayed a total of 12 nights over 3 different stays in 3 different sites, all in full hook up sites. One of them was a deluxe site with the patio. These sites are concrete pads, whereas the regular sites are gravel. There also appeared to be water/electric sites only in what was probably the original portion of the park; these sites looked more established with large trees, etc. All the sites are level, all the power poles seem to be in excellent working order. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the owners live on site. When I was supposed to depart but had a sick dog, Lana (one of the owners) helped me extend my stay, got me situated in a new site for the week, and recommended a vet to me. I work remotely so I have to stay an entire work week at a time typically. The wifi is excellent with boosters scattered throughout the park. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. I will definitely be returning. Most the sites are well insulated from road noise except those at the top of the park which is right by 101. Even so, it didn’t bother me at all. I used an average cost of all my nights stayed since I was in a few different sites with different price points. I believe there’s also a slightly discounted weekly rate.

Close together spots in well decked out KOA. Lots of family and dog friendly activities. On the edge of town but accessible (watch out for the tree on the left coming into the park). Small dog park. Good central dump and store for amenities.

We came in the off season when most of the campground was not being used. Still, the RV section we were in was almost full. Looked like a lot of full time residents.
Our site had a level cement pad with freshly mulched area behind and privacy fences between the sites. Sites were a little close together but they had one heck of a view of the mountains.

This is our second time here and enjoy the facilities service and staff. Tons of amenities when not in a lockdown. Off leash dog park is a bonus. Pads are huge and well maintained. Great location for activities up and down the coast.

Only some of the sites have sewer. The rest have access to a $20 honey truck. Nice place. Very family friendly. Very close to so many great activities. Staff was nice and helpful. Lots of trees. Road by our site but really not an issue. Has fire pits at some or all of the sites. Seems well maintained. We would come back.

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow, were meeting friends in the area who were also staying here. We were in site 908 for 3 days in late August. The CG is fairly large and the sites fairly well spaced for a private CG. Ours was even separated by privacy fences. Now the bad. We were directly across from a family who let their young kids run around playing in the road and screaming a lot. They also routinely left their dogs off leash despite a leash rule and several warnings to put them on leash. At least once the smaller of the dogs ran out barking and snarling at a couple walking their two dogs past their site. I even notified the office twice, once about the aggressive behavior and once about the frequent off leash situation. After that many warnings, they should have been asked to leave. AT&T coverage good, ranging from 3-4 Bars of LTE with speeds up to 8.6 MB/s. The CG WiFi was descent, with speeds up to 1.2 MB/s. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.
