The Freakybuttrue Peculiarium in Portland, Oregon has a 10-foot tall bigfoot, an alien autopsy set where YOU can be the victim the aliens are operating on, an interactive zombie brain, and Bugeaters Delight Sundaes, sprinkled with dried mealworms and scorpions on top, cotton candy, soft serve, French fries, corn dogs, and the long-awaited return of the BUG SUNDAE! If you eat the whole thing, you can become a member of the Insectarian Club! We also feature other bizarre exhibits and strange artwork in our gallery. Admission is $7, $5 on Wednesdays.
This peculiarium is small but so full of stories, knick-knacks, and opportunities to play and have fun. Everything in the shop does indeed feel peculiar, and it was one of our favorite stops... Read more
