I don’t know what happened between July 31 (last review) and August 11, but we did not have a good experience at all. The woman in the office was friendly, but the park was seedy-looking and the water was brown and smelly. We have spent the next two days flushing and sanitizing our system.

The folks who run/own the park are very kind and accommodating. We were in a pinch and had no campsite. We called them and explained our situation. They said “no problem, get here when you can”. We had a very nice double-site space. Had good WiFi reception with Verizon, and had decent internet reception with the internet they provided. The park is quiet and peaceful. A deer came into the grassy area of the park and was eating crabapples off a tree. We saw other wildlife as well.
There is what looked to be like a closed up Mexican restaurant across the street, and that area was a bit cluttered with old cars/a boat, etc., but it didn’t detract from the well-kept rv park area.
We will definitely come back again when we are in Raton. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The place is an older rv park. They are working on some improvements. It was a good place to stop for the night as we continued our trip to the next place. Being in Raton, it was convenient and right off I25. Not noisy at all. Good internet. Cell coverage was good in town but spotty easy of town.
They give you a double 30 amp connection to plug your 50 amp into. We didn't have any problem using it. The dump connections were at an angle, which seemed off to us, but since we were only staying overnight we didn't use them.

The staff here is very accomodating and friendly. They do work to make your experience as good as possible. The sites are somewhat small and as the park is older. We are traveling in 43 ft MH with a toad. Cell phone service was spotty with both ATT and Verizon as far as data transfer is concerned. Even with an external MIMO antenna and mobile router download and upload speeds were not anything to brag about. The sites are gravel and fairly level. I did have to put blocks under my front tires while leveling. If you are driving a rig over 40 ft, be sure to hold close to the office when you come into the park because you are going to have to make a U turn that is fairly tight.

We have stayed here many times because of it close location to Whittington. Older RV park but owners are very friendly and accommodating. Full hookups and sites for large RV’s. Close to freeway so easy overnight for travelers. There is cell phone reception, sketchy internet and local tv reception with an antenna booster. Nice laundry room available but because of Covid-19 bathrooms are still closed.

Convenient on of I-25, level gravel sites. Sites are close but they try to leave sites around you ipen when they can. Some grassy areas for the pups, some trees for shade. Laundry clean and reasonable prices new washer and dryer for large loads prices are reasonable. Did not use the shower or bathroom. Family owned business and very nice friendly owners. Also have repair shop. We were in 24’ class C. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
