Our Take
San Antonio is more than just a stop-off to see the Alamo, and the River Walk is an example of an attraction in the city that will really pull you in. There’s a Ripley’s here (which should tell you generally what to expect from the River Walk) but I suggest checking out the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum a block off the river. That being said, you could easily spend a whole day exploring even if you just stick to the walk itself. There are tons of cafes and restaurants that exude a special, Texas brand of quirk.
