“sharing & celebrating Chickasaw history”
Welcome to the Chickasaw Cultural Center. This world-class destination is devoted to sharing and celebrating Chickasaw history and culture. As the largest tribal cultural center in the United States, our ongoing mission is to make you feel at home. With our showcases, interactive media stations and hands-on classes, we have consciously departed from the traditional museum "displays-under-glass" format to give you the closest connection with our culture. The Chickasaw Cultural Center has been a vision of Chickasaw people for many years, borne of thousands of hours of inspired planning, design and labor. On behalf of the Chickasaw Nation, thank you for your patronage and, please, visit again. The Chickasaw Cultural Center, a stunning state-of-the-art campus featuring architectural elements such as native stone, wood, and copper—is the culmination of the legacy of our people. It’s a place that records our history and perpetuates our legacy for generations to come.

Nice area. It would be better if we had planned around the event schedule. It is good for a stop to walk around and stretch your legs. The price is right.
If your into Native culture this is a great place to check out, especially with kids. They have a museum, Native artifacts, a theater, performances & dancing, and a "village" to explore. A very nice gift store and cafe grace their premises and stopping by both is a real treat. If driving down I-35 it's a must stop for a few hours. Also check their website when traveling in March, they typically have a week or more of hands-on cultural activities.
Most INCREDIBLE stop in Chickasaw Country!! Amazing history and the Indian Tacos are A MUST!! We went back following days just for the food! The Cultural Center was described to me as the “Crown jewel in the crown of the Chickasaw Nation” and if anything their description was an understatement! We were blown away with the historical information, along with the majestic and incredible attention to details of the grounds and buildings!
Great stop! So much you can do here and it is such a beautiful place if you just wanted to walk around. The Museum is very informative and the staff there do not hesitate to answer questions or interact with you. There is so much to do here I regret we did not make this a day trip.
