“locally owned friendly RV park”
Locally owned and operated RV park- clean, friendly, and hospitable! We are a GOOD SAM park! 60 pull thru- full hook-ups at every site! Restrooms/showers/laundry facilities for all campers. (wi-fi, cable, water, electric- 30amp and 50 amp, and each has their own dump site) Exit 333 on I-40, which is also Highway 54, go north 1/4 mile. We are on the left! Every morning enjoy Wendy's homemade muffins and New Mexico Pinon coffee. We are the only distributor in Tucumcari for WG's Tamales!

Clean restrooms. Good hook ups and WiFi nice easy overnite stop.
We stayed here while we were in town for a Disc Golf tournament. They gave us a discounted price of $10 a night. Which was very nice!
The one lady we talked with was very nice, happy and always very helpful.
We stayed in spot 49 for the first two nights and when we got here the third night the second lady had put someone in our spot so she told us to go to site 48. The night after it was the same thing but the nice girl was in the office and she was sorry that happened.
Overall it was a nice place, the first night we stayed we got woken up by the construction going on on Mountain Rd but they didn’t work over the weekend so that was nice lol
The spots were decently level for a gravel lot. They did have quite a few spots. They have a laundry room on site that costs $1 for wash and $1 for drying. They also have a women’s and men’s washrooms with two free showers in each.
A downfall for us was that where the “dog walk” area was on the map was just a dirt path, so we would walk them to the play area that actually had grass and would obviously clean up after them afterwards. Also the only dumpster was all the way in the front corner, away from the dog walk area/ grass area.
All in all we would return!

We needed a quick last minute place to stay. And since all of the rest areas in NM are closed due to covid restrictions this was a last resort. Simple place, easy to get in and out of. Well managed and clean.

Good overnight stop. Easy access from I-40. Friendly, efficient staff. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Tucumcari’s historic Route 66 district. Interior is crushed stone and easy to maneuver in a big rig. This is really just a parking lot with hookups, picnic tables, restrooms, laundry, and a grassy play area. There are a few trees and bushes scattered throughout. All utilities worked as expected. We had no problem getting level. Our issue with utilities is that sites are narrow and utilities are located mid-coach, so that you can’t really get your seating area or picnic table away from your neighbor’s sewer. All sites are pull through full hookups. The major maintenance seems to be taken care of, but daily cleanup is not. There was a dropped glove in the site next door to us for 2 days, there was no cover on the sewer connection in the site next door, and trash had blown into the “dog walking area” which is just the unimproved edges of the park. All in all we would stay here again since it’s a safe, convenient one or two night stay.

Gravel lots; decent cell. Bathhouse is very old. There are only two showers; one shower was loaded with gobs of long, brown hair. I know that's not management's fault, but it left a bad impression. The shower I used had no hooks and the fixtures were very old. Still, at $33 . . .

Nothing spectacular about the rv park itself, but its worth its weight in gold to feel welcomed at a campground. The manager here was such a sweet soul and should give lessons to others on how to be a manager of a campground. Our truck was overheated and we had to stay here to fix it… one night turned into two, and she was so understanding! Good Sam discount. The manager was around checking on things at the campground frequently, told us to stay as long as we needed and even offered to get a sprinkler for the kids (we happened to be here during a heat wave of 110). Her hospitality alone would make me come back, 100%. The rv park itself had several open spots, conveniently next to two truck stops and not a far drive into town for food, etc. Mostly level on all the spots, gravel/dirt mix. Not a resort or anything by no means, probably more suitable for a night or 2 stay. We didn’t use amenities so I can’t speak on that, but otherwise, I would definitely stay here again!

Paid $38 for electric but expected full hookup based on reservation. Water spigot was frozen. Trash all over the place. Dog walk was weeds with goat heads and thorns and not fenced off.
