“no one hears you scream in Tulsa”
This mysterious anomaly of an experience, aptly titled the Center of the Universe, consists of yelling, screaming, sneezing, farting, burping, and generally making noise that provides an echo... yet only those standing in the Center of the Universe can hear. There's a lesson in there somewhere, but more importantly, it's a super cool stop to make and try out on the road!

Personally I would say don't bother going out of your way for this. It's more like the sound effect heard when talking into a fan, though somewhat weaker. If you are passing through, might be worth a stop to check it out. I personally was unimpressed, though.
This is right in the middle of downtown. However, there weren't many people there so we went right up and gave it a try. It's amazing, but true, you can only hear the echo inside the circle
We went to the middle of the universe sight. At first I wasn't sure, it seemed like it wasn't up to the hype, then I stood on the spot and started talking and making noise, and it was super cool! Definitely an amazing spot!
Almost 6 hours from St Louis
I've been to the center of the universe and this is not it.
Had a hard time finding it. Wasn't sure where it was since it is not marked in any way. It was ok, not worth the trip unless you are in the area.
Definitely a pretty cool spot if you're in the area - though it helps to have a local show you the trick. Don't be afraid to speak up.
It was a really cool place, but out of the way. There are no signs telling you where it is. The effect was awesome and it works really well.
Kinda neat , it's a bit in disrepair ( there's not really a sign by it but a circle of broken bricks with the stone circle in the middle) but it works. you might have to wait for the train to pass. Also it can take a couple tries you have to be right in the center then you get a tinny voice sound back. But it's close to buck atoms so if you're close by it's fun enough for a quick stop.
The Roadside America listing for this attraction explains it in some detail, for all of y'all that can't figure it out. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/13698
