Great park. The swimming hole is beautiful and really fun, it just gets super packed. You can jump, swim, or float. If you have kids bring floaties - there's not really a beach, just a drop off. It's so deep there's no weeds though so that's great. :) It's also great for walking - the trails are beautiful. I personally really enjoy cross country skiing here in the winter. There's a path made specifically for that so beginners like me can actually enjoy themselves without falling down!
There were two popular swimming holes-too deep for kids. One of them gets to 116 ft deep. Another is 45 ft deep. Bring life jackets/floaties. One of the swimming spots has a very small sandy beach. Swimming and bluff jumping spots get busy quickly. Majority of trails are wide and paved or mowed. Some spots were marked for divers or rock climbing with the appropriate training and permits. You can fish here with a trout stamp I believe.
Great spot for summer cliff jumping.
