The Mountain views are definitely the highlight of this RV park, as it sits in the beautiful Wapiti Valley, just east of Yellowstone National Park. We stayed in mid-September and the $27.50 rate reflects their Passport America discount after labor day for a water and electric site. Normally, the rates are $45+ for water and electric, and $55+ for FHU. Sites are all pull-thru and they can accommodate large rigs. The bathrooms are adequate, laundry is on site ($2 to wash, $2 to dry), and the wifi worked well, but there were only about 6 of us in the park, so I can't vouch for how fast it is when the park is busy. We were also able to get about 4 local channels with the TV antenna. It's about a 15 mile drive to Cody, WY for supplies, but the drive is stunning along the Buffalo Bill Reservoir and along the Shoshone River. Our only complaint is that it's a bit pricey for the amenities (no cable, bathrooms aren't super clean), but we also understand that they have a short season and good proximity to the National Park.

If you reserve a spot online, you can pick one back along the river. Fall asleep to the sound of the river instead of the highway. The park is professionally run, the spots are huge (although a bit dusty when we were there).
They have a breakfast buffet, but it was underwhelming at best -- cook in your RV. Nothing wrong with it, but you could do the same for a fraction of the price.

It’s nice, bathrooms/showers were free, we loved the river (it was super high when we were there last week).... It’s close to the east entrance, but exploring all of Yellowstone from here is tough. We ended up leaving the camper here for a night and stayed at a hotel in West Yellowstone, MT to explore the other side of Yellowstone.

I selected this park because it was the closest to Yellowstone that was under 6,500' in elevation. You can select your own site on the website and I chose one near the river for the views; glad I did, they were mesmerizing. However they say the park is 30 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone, actually it's 33 but even then it's another 25 miles to the central Grand Loop road in Yellowstone; it took me 95 minutes to get to the Grand Loop road and that doesn't account for the east entrance construction. To me, 3 hours round trip just to get to Yellowstone and back; not such a great use of time.
The campground was clear of vegetation and basically gravel parking spots. Most are a little staggered so you're not looking directly into another RV but your neighbor's fire pit seems to be right in front of your RV. I got smoked out every night.
The staff was outstanding, I ordered 3 Amazon packages and had it shipped there; it arrived a week early and they had no issues holding them for me.
The laundry and rest rooms/showers were clean and in good shape. Although some of the dryers looked like they might be worn out they worked fine. Laundry takes quarters and is $2 each to wash and dry. Bath/shower rooms were on a door code lock and were locked from inside when in use. The grounds were mostly clean and nice to walk the dog all around. I didn't notice a dog area but the park was a better path anyway. There were horses about 100 yards away in another farm and fun to watch. My favorite spot in the whole park was the area with chairs overlooking the wild and raging North Fork Shoshone River; mesmerizing and calming noise, grab a glass of wine and relax there. Also there was a little pool but it wasn't filled/working yet.
All in all I liked the park, it's just too far to be a Yellowstone location.

Felt a bit hoodwinked after seeing the $40-$50 prices listed here, because we were charged $97 - even with a Good Sam discount. Maybe it’s because we booked it slightly last minute? Or perhaps they raised their prices for the season? Either way it wasn’t worth the money. Site is in an open lot; smelled like open sewer. They were accommodating for late night arrivals and while we stopped late and left early, it looks like they offer a lot on the property if you wanted to take an extended stay. We have AT&T and this was the last place we had service before entering the park (none of the como grounds or Yellowstone had it).

Be aware when booking that even if you give more then 15 days to cancel they charge you 1 day cancellation fee (THATS $90 JUST FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF BOOKING WITH THEM). We had to change our travel plans and cancelled more then 15 days in advance and was charged $90. So, before booking I highly recommend looking elsewhere in case theres an emergency and you have to cancel.

Easy to find right off the road to Yellowstone. WiFi/internet never worked in our 3 days there. It would be nice to have a lower cost because of that. Beautiful scenery. Hot tub was nice and the pool was heated which my kids appreciated. Camper sites are a little close. Laundry and individual locking showers are quite nice!

Nice Basecamp for going to Yellowstone. They have decent showers in a shower building with toilets. There is also a restaurant and bar on the property. Lots of extra amenities such as pool and hot tub. The views are gorgeous! Laundry is $4 a load though, which is higher than what Yellowstone had at $2.25.

Great location half way between the eastern gate to Yellowstone and Cody. We stayed for four nights found it uniquely situated as our base camp for Yellowstone. Also visited the Cody Western Museum and found it wonderful, also stopped at the Buffalo Bill Dam. Nice size sights and great views price was reasonable, bathroom were clean. Would definitely return if coming back to Yellowstone.
